To my Lily!

I will love you
More than you would know..
I will take up
The hate of my life,
Voluntarily, without a murmur,
Just for you to be happy..
I’ll survive in hell
And even seemingly flourish,
Just to control the evil
From touching even your shadow..

I know that I’ll never ever be,
The love of your life,
The Apple of your eyes,
Or even as a dear friend of you..
I somehow realise that
You almost hate me..
You want me to disappear
From all facets of your life..

I simply cannot do that..
Though, I can assure you that
I will never interfere you
In any way and in any place..
Yet, I’ll continue to hold,
Tightly, wholly and without losing,
My love for you..
I’ll be afar and away from you..
Still, am just around the corner..
I’ll be next to you, when needed,
In a moment’s notice..

I don’t see a future together..
I don’t see a change either..
I don’t know what it would cost me..
I’m ready to pay with my life..
I’ll see to that you are,
Never ever in want of anything..
Whether you are near or not..
For, what I feel for you is eternal..

You are my Lily..
I’m your Snape..
Always!

Responsibility vs Passion and a little touch of Harry’s magic

In the last book of Harry potter series, out of the many decisions he make, the one dilemma that struck me special is the choice between the Horcrux and the Deathly Hallows.

Horcrux is the job assigned to him, as in find and destroy them i.e. His responsibility. Without any clue of what it is, where it is but with the warning of, it’s concealed as any object, could be in any place and it is very highly protected and it might cost him his life and soul. Doesn’t sound so interesting right? Hmm.. That’s his fate..

Now let’s see about Deathly Hallows.. This is Harry’s new found craze and might be called as his passion. He is already in rightful possession of one of the three objects and has been using it for years, has another object concealed in his possession, and has a very good source to find the missing third object..

Now, the dilemma of him.. To go after the seemingly impossible task of finding and destroying the Horcrux or to go after the Hallows and safeguard himself from death as well as attain unique and ultimate power.

Despite all the inclination, he chose Horcrux over Hallows or in other words, his responsibility over passion.

As the story progresses, he seems to be in possession of the Hallows, even before he could accomplish his task to completion!

Coming back to muggle-world / earth-speak, aren’t we finding ourselves in the diverse roads often? Between passion and responsibility? So can we say that, though we might go after our responsibility, we could also find oneself accomplishing passion too?

Is it possible in the world without magic? May I take a leap to responsibility and yet find myself growing wings to conquer my dreams?

Saving the savior..

This was the post I posted exactly a year back..

Would I say the same now?

Right now, I’m not being helpful to anyone or even being a very good friend in the past month..

Yet, when I read what I wrote, I feel a surge of pride..

Though I would prefer to be a victim and let others help me to drag, reading back my own words, gives me the push I need to move my lazy self to stand back on my own feet..

And this reminds me of Harry Potter producing his first patronus, to save himself, just with the knowledge that he would be able to do so..

I ask the potterheads to excuse me, when I’m bragging that my blog is indeed a time-turner.. 😛

And it helps me save myself and let me be the victim and savior of myself.. 😉

Now do visit the original post and let me know of your views over comments or owl-post.. 😛

Whom do you really help when you help someone?
